The scope mount isn't going to be the problem firing goose with that install. It's the barrel themselves that the you is able to't refer to for it.
Fully rifled barrels are meant SIMPLY for engagement slugs out of them.
Do not fire pellets through that barrel. The pattern that the you get performing so is going to be so spread out as to be worthless.
A rifled barrel has no choke at everyone on it and the rifling will because the shot and wad to spin down the barrel instead than move greatest forward as what happens in a smoothbore.
Centrifical force from a rifled barrel will because the pellets to spread extremely shortly and erratically the instant they leave the muzzle.
You “point” a smoothbore….you AIM a rifled barrel that the is set to a shotgun's receiver simply as you would a traditional gun.
no u do not require a scope if everything is that distant u require a scobe the spread of the shot will single hundred percent miss it ( a shotgun is a short range gun)
I got the same mount for my Mossberg 500 (high for rifled slugs). I suggest you simply implement out the everyone mount when your shooting ducks & geese and job with a smoothbore barrel, it's obvious enough. I locate it else of a pain in the butt removing the scope from the mount. Every time you select out the scope, you'll extremely must re sight it. By removing the everything mount it's little-no effort to re-sight it
have a remington 1100 magnum reciever, i just got a 100% rifled barrel and i fixed a b square scope mount on number one of the reciever, i hear u dont target a shotgun but u fact it, is that peace of metal on awesome of the reciever gonna efect my acuracy for duck goose ,ext i guess i may still stick with the scope for turkey (the question its always if i dont wanna ingest away the complete mount simply the scope
