variable addition scopes optimize the distance in lenses as you zoom. with the optimize, the cross hairs might turn into higher blurry, or the quarry mey switch into blurry, on tons of scopes, at the forehand there are a peice such us that of the windadge regulation that unscrews, unscrew it, and twist the threads, the image perfect end will alter tromendously. on my bushnell .22 rimfire, i critical to compensate it
